You could classify The Dante Club loosely as historical fiction. Fields who collectively call themselves The Dante Club. A special meeting was held on Thursday afternoon at the Dante Club. I picked this book up in Tel Aviv two weeks ago, anticipating to kill some time on the train back home and the flight to Boston on the next day. There is a short reference to this tragedy in The Dante Club, but I must have read about it somewhere else. I thought this quote was important because it is a turning point in the book. I knew the basic premise for this book, gravitated back to it because of my current interest in 19th c. Or perhaps, try historical-fantasy-fiction-literary-murder-mystery.
